NEW and IMPROVED – Guided Online Course in EMF radiation assessment and mitigation

NEW and IMPROVED – Guided Online Course in EMF radiation assessment and mitigation 2022-04-18T00:12:52+02:00

Learn EMF assessment and mitigation from the comfort of home, office or on the go, in a new small scale guided online course

Travel and accommodation hack into the budget when you contemplate learning a new skill or trade and the school is interstate or overseas. After many requests, Patrick van der Burght has created an online learning experience which doesn’t quite equal our live-workshops… but it gets very close. In 2019 this was upgraded to the version we work with now.

Perhaps you’d like to know the finer details of GEOVITAL’s approach to man-made (EMF) radiation that has supported it’s patient/health client-orientated 40-year history. Perhaps you wish to use this knowledge for yourself or you have an interest to professionally start helping your community. Either way, this online training experience is likely going to teach you all you need to know to get started and see what it is all about, before making large financial investing in time, travel or equipment, you can gain the knowledge, realise it is not too technical and get some ideas on how to run a business with these skills.

Considering the intimate size of the ‘class room’ with typically 6 to 8 new students at most and spending time with Patrick van der Burght as your mentor, although not cheap, the course offers very good value for money and saves you a lot in travel and accommodation.

What does a guided online EMF training experience look like?

The new course includes access to a newly created online training centre where you can work your way through sections of teaching lectures at your own pace within a given time period (typically a week). At the end of this period an online meeting is held to review and elaborate on the knowledge you’ve absorbed that week. A new section of knowledge is then released to you in the online system and we review that the week after.

Sometimes small assignments are due to be submitted or quiz questions to be answered online to review your understanding. Sometimes one on one coaching is done with Patrick or some of his senior consultants.

Online review meetings in real time

Using a Video Conferencing systems, Patrick van der Burght aims to create a personalised online classroom experience where knowledge can be passed on, reviewed and interaction between the students is valued. This means you are not on your own going through this process and your understanding is monitored and cared about.

Whilst most of the teaching is now done ‘on demand’ at your schedule in the online knowledge centre, by use of many videos, the live-online time is where we make sure you ‘get it’.

The launch of Geovital’s online class in my opinion was a huge success! The class flowed well, the presentation was very professional and you were very attentive, kind and so easy to converse with. I’ve been in a lot of classes and you were definitely an awesome teacher.

What is included, and what is missing, in an online EMF radiation course?

We believe we can guide you through the knowledge needed to start helping yourself or others with EMF radiation exposure. That said, online teaching has some limitations.

Included in this workshop are:

  • Health effects linked to EMF radiation
  • Geovital’s experience and success with EMF radiation avoidance and shielding as part of a multi-fasceted approach with the patients of our Austrian health clinic
  • Electricity as source of radiation and different radiation types
  • Assessment instrumentation explained and demonstrated
  • Exposure guidelines
  • Workflow of conducting a home assessment
  • Demonstration of a home assessment
  • Shielding solutions; types, suitability and application
  • Understanding test reports and being able to identify and justify good performance products
  • Application of shielding solutions
  • Introduction (theory) to Geopathic Stress
  • Mattress design problems and the Geovital answer to this
  • Business start-up considerations.
  • Access to Patrick’s ‘Office Hours’

Not included in this workshop:

  • Practical teaching of Geopathic Stress detection and measurement
  • Practical in-person experience assessing bedrooms or homes
  • Business start-up sessions as offered in the Business Start-up course option
  • Business bonuses as offered in the Business Start-up course option
  • Opportunity to hold and experiment yourself with measurement instrumentation of the academy during class. You’ll be demonstrated how this is done. There is however a very exciting opportunity:

Guided Assessment of Your Home with Your GEOVITAL Meters*

*If, before or during the course, you purchase your own Geovital meters, which arrive with you before the course finishes, Patrick or one of his consultants will be able to guide (up to 4 students spread over the duration of the course) through the use of these meters in your own home! The other students have an opportunity to listen in on this process. This way, you assess your home with an expert looking over your shoulder and you and the other students learn from it.

On a complex subject that one would otherwise have to spend years and years researching and learning through trial and error. Patrick’s course brings definition and clarity, in just a few hours. From the convenience of your own home and from a teacher whose expansive knowledge on the subject of radiation-free living is only surpassed by his genuine kindness and sincerity. I highly recommend this wonderful class.” Diane F, Florida, USA

Structure and duration of the course

The schedule of these online courses may vary between courses but typically the content is spread over 5 sections which are gone through over 6 or 7 weeks. Online you would typically be investing 4-5 hours per week to have the knowledge centre share the theory with you or see demonstrations of the use of meters or implementation of mitigation.

At the end of a section period (typically a week) there is a 1-2 hour online meeting with the other students to summarise and review what you learned that period. Going overtime may happen, so make sure to allow availability also some time after the expected finishing time.

The sections are broken up in subject areas like Radiation and Electricity, Instrumentation, Assessment workflow, Shielding Solutions and their effectiveness, Geopathic Stress introduction (theory only), Mattress health and finally a session on the Business side of things for those interested to start their own business assisting families.

The online knowledge centre (OKC) will give you access to sections of the course as time progresses so we focus on what needs to be focussed on that period. You access to the OKC can start when between when the previous online course has ended and before your course officially starts.

Assignments

In this course you’ll also be given assignment to do during the weeks.
These assignments have a ‘hidden’ value and form part of business later.

What is OFFICE HOURS?

For Patrick’s students, Patrick has committed to hosting a monthly or bi-monthly online video meeting with any of his students (past, current and future). You’ll be able to visit this meeting and listen in to the answers to questions that you or other students have submitted before the meeting.

The meeting is about 1 or 1.5 hours in duration, we use webcams to make it more personal and Patrick will go over the submitted questions. Sometimes you may be asked to elaborate or explain. Videos can also be sent in and shown during the meeting for all to learn from.

OFFICE HOURS is your ongoing (as long as we provide it) ability to ask your questions after the course.

Turn this course (EMF1) into Patrick’s signature EMF Business Start-up Course

This course is also referred to as EMF1. Patrick’s signature program, the ‘EMF Business Start-up Course’ contains this guided online training and knowledge centre, and then flows into EMF2 which deep dives into Business Skills, creates a website for you and offers supervised online assessment practice opportunity. Then EMF3 can be done which is a practical focussed live-workshop where you’ll do EMF home assessment in homes with just a few fellow students and learn about Geopathic Stress assessment skills.

Given the value of the skills learned in EMF2, this is good to be purchased at the same time as your EMF1 so you can learn quicker how to set your new business up well. Find out more here.

Different time-zones catered for

Interest comes from across the globe and online courses will be scheduled at different times of the day to enable people from many different countries to find one that they can fit into their schedule. If the timing of one particular course, doesn’t suit, then check out the next few courses planned. If you have interest but timing is difficult, then let us know of your interest and it may influence future course planning to make it easier for you to join.

Courses are typically ran from Patrick’s base in Australia. Most scheduled early in his day to make participation from North and South America, the Australasia region, and even Europe easy in their afternoons/evenings and nights.

I’m really grateful for your clear,  knowledgeable, and diligent work throughout the Webinars . It was really worthy for me. You made it easy for me to understand concepts outside my professional field in two ( >22hours!) weekends! I also appreciate your friendliness and the ability to motivate all of us. Thank you! – Maria Alcantara, UK

Investment

The online course offers very good value considering the flexibility it offers with the online knowledge centre and time spent with Patrick or his senior consultants in this small group of students.

Frequently asked questions

How similar can an online course be to a live-workshop?

We make the experience as much like a real classroom as we can. In a real classroom you’d watch a power point whilst the teacher covers all the points and we can do the same online. Some of the knowledge videos you will watch in the online knowledge centre are of students being taught in the live workshop. In a real classroom, or home, we demonstrate how equipment is used and assessment are done, we can do this online just as easily using webcam and prerecorded training videos to show you these things in a real situation (rather than a classroom). We’re able to pause, elaborate whilst the demonstration is shown or after. Because we keep the experience small and personal with a small number of allowable student, we can make it fun online too.

The only thing we can’t do in relation to a live-workshop is to hand you instruments and you have a go at operating them. This is an undeniable difference. The way we try to work around this as best as possible is to offer to those who wish to buy the instrumentation before or during the course (and receive it during the course) the opportunity to have them assess their own home whilst Patrick or senior consultants (and the other students) watch and tweak their approach. This is never part of any live-workshop and could be seen as quite a valuable bonus.

What is missing in the online course that I would experience in the live-workshop?

The big difference is ‘Geopathic Stress’ training.

Geopathic stress is taken very seriously by Geovital and all its consultants. It is part of every bedroom assessment we do because we have seen the enormous impact it can have on health over time and how much a health recovery can be helped by having it addressed.

Geopathic stress theory is covered in the online course but we can not teach you how to find specific geopathic stresses, identify them, measure their stimulation factor, and therefore determine which counter measures are appropriate. Because online-course attendees lack this training and ability, they cannot become official Geovital consultants or affiliates just yet until they have had this training during a live-workshop (We can still support their business efforts as freelancers though).

Use of instruments
In a live-workshop, we can hand you instruments to hold and try out. Online we cannot. However we give you many videos showing the process and also videos of actual home assessments being done. If you have questions you can of course ask.

How long does a workshop take and how confident will I be to do this work afterwards?

The online course takes about 24 hours of home study (watching presentation videos mostly) and about 8 to 10 hours online, all spread over a period of approximately 6 to 7 weeks. Each scheduled course will show the schedule associated with it.

During the course, you learn the theory of EMF radiation and assessment, as well as mitigation in great detail. Often, doing assessments for family and friends is a good place to start once you have acquired the instrumentation. Before you know it, you have built up experience and are starting to become very knowledgeable. The Geovital office is always there to help its representative and affiliates. We would, for example, assist your clients (while respecting that it is your client) with a ‘new home’ building consultation as this is an area that you’d be out of your depth for a while until you’ve gained experience ‘on the job’.

Do I need to be a doctor or a therapist?

No, there are no prerequisites for the online course or the live-workshop. Experience in health care is beneficial but it is not needed at all. It just happens that many integrated service doctors and therapists identify the need for a home assessment with their existing clients and don’t know where to go from there. With Geovital training, they are able to offer this service to their existing clients themselves.

Offering EMF radiation home assessments can be run as a stand-alone business. There are enough homes needing to be assessed and sadly, enough people with chronic complaints due to their unhealthy homes. Also many health-conscious people (see Gabi’s story) wish to live as healthy as possible. If you are not a doctor or a therapist, you could network with those professionals and help their clients.

What should I expect in terms of expenses to do assessments after the course?

Understandably you need the proper equipment in order to execute an assessment of a home. Our experience has shown that many instruments, especially for RF and LF electric fields, do not assess the situation with the body properly in order to arrive at the answer if protection is called for or not. We take a more medical approach in these things, take readings on the body whenever possible, and place little value on the measurement of the air. At GEOVITAL we have become quite picky when it comes to the equipment our own official consultants can use because we need our patients to receive the best possible assessment of their situation.

We have come to the stage where we have designed our own instrumentation and if you desire to become an official GEOVITAL representative, you will need to have the GEOVITAL EM Field Probe and the GEOVITAL HF Field Probe as a minimum to help our patients/health clients get to the right decisions about their situation. It usually earns itself back fairly quickly and we have attractive pricing on these items during the workshop for the students because we realise these are your working tools…  but you do need to budget for it as a business expense. Ask your local office now about a price indication of the cost of these tools.

What is required to be done to become an official Geovital consultant after this online course?

Only having done the online course, and having acquired instrumentation to measure with, you will, after gaining practical experience after the course, be starting to become comfortable charging people for home EMF assessments. When you need products to mitigate with, we’d be delighted to assist you after some simple agreement is put in place.

To become an official Geovital consultant takes a little more. Firstly, we do require our official Geovital consultants to use instrumentation we deem appropriate and this is typically our field probes because we feel, based on our experience, that health clients receive the best assessment using these.

Secondly, you will need to do a live-workshop to learn the assessment skills for geopathic stress in order to be considered for being an official Geovital consultant. We say ‘considered’ because we’d like to meet you and of course we only want people representing us who fit the family. If you’re passionate about improving the world and health of those around you, in an honest way, then you should be fine. We can’t just say ‘everyone’ can be an official Geovital consultants because some people just don’t fit. An agreement would also come into place which protects our brand, the relationship and the investment of time we will make in you to help you.

Official Geovital consultants also become our highest priority when it comes to referring inquiries from new health clients for assessments and they actively go out to promote their home assessment business. An online profile may also be part of this. We have found in the past that consultants who mix different brands of products confuse clients who are expecting the Geovital representative with the Geovital approach to step through the door. The relationship we have with those representing us therefor also includes this professional to work only with our solutions and not with competing alternatives. An approach makes sense for many reasons including the profitability of your business, but it is a business decision you have to make. We’re happy to work with you at whichever level you are comfortable with.

Having done the online-course may see you be granted a substantial discount on doing a live-workshop. You have to approach the Geovital school in question about this or ask Patrick van der Burght about this possibility.

Why is the way Geovital assesses radiation different?

Our approach and experience have come from dealing with patients and the need to have assessment methods as well as products that give us the best chance of positive outcomes with those patients. In our experience, investigating the arrival of electronic pollution in the body instead of the air (not just for electric fields but also radiofrequency radiation) has been a big distinction for us. Other courses in EMF (small and big) tend to underestimate, in our opinion, the need for shielding to be put in place because they measure the air and not the body. Beyond this, the results of shielding projects they may have hesitantly undertaken, may not have brought health improvements for some clients they were hoping for or caused side effects. This may be because of the lower quality of shielding products people tend to work with or recommend. This lack of wonderful outcomes has then reduced the enthusiasm for applying and recommending shielding to other clients. We sometimes hear others state ‘only shield when absolutely necessary’, where we would say ‘shielding benefits everyone’ because, with our solutions, made from ingredients we carefully selected and with its performance, we rarely see anyone who hasn’t been excited about their decision to shield.

We use the term patient as we are originally a health clinic in Austria. For those areas where the word patient is restricted to use by medical doctors, please read ‘patient’ as ‘health client’.

What if I miss an online class session?

We normally record the review sessions and make it available for replay to all students with access to the online knowledge centre whilst your course is happening. At the end of the course those review sessions are removed. This should give you enough time to catch up on a missed class in case you miss one.

How long do I have access to the online knowledge centre?

For a long time… maybe for years to come. The reason that is a bit of a unclear answer, is because it depends on us using the services of the hosting company. As long as we keep using them, you’ll maintain access to the knowledge to review. If for whatever reason we terminate the use of the hosting services, then sadly your access would terminate as well. We’ll give you fair warning if that was to happen.

I’ve done the course in the past. Can I access the knowledge centre?

There is a significant financial investment in this knowledge centre. This is why the course fee is now also more than it used to be. We can’t give past students access to the knowledge centre without charging a fee. Ask us for details.

You are most welcome to join us in Patrick’s ‘Office Hours’. Just ask.
