RF Microwave Radiation levels around the world

Ever wondered how much the radiation exposure is in your neighborhood and other places in the world?

I thought it would be interesting to give you some insights in body exposure to RF radiation from phone towers and other transmitters, the world over. This will be an expanding document as we would likely collect more images from our consultants and perhaps from amateurs who own the professional GEOVITAL HF Field Probe meter.

RF radiation levels can vary dramatically from street to street. Here it is quite low.

Word of Warning:
It should be understood that the bedroom is absolute key when it comes to health protection, recovery and regeneration. Most of these images will be outside and don’t necessarily give a clear indication of how high that exposure may be inside a home in that area. Clearly, if you have high levels outside, it has the potential to be terrible inside, but it could be less than expected due to building materials used or for example the vicinity of metal roofs on neighboring properties. These can also make things worse if angled at, for your home, the wrong angle… or they could somewhat protect your home by effectively ‘shading’ your bedroom. It can also be that outside levels are not extreme, but that local RF sources from a neighbors home, for example, can make levels in a home higher.

The point to remember is:

You will not know what your individual body exposure is or how urgently your home/bedroom should be shielded, until you or one of our consultants, assesses your body in your bedroom with a HF Field Probe.

When are EMF radiation levels on the body of concern?

Directional transmitters move voice and data from one tower to the next. They can affect us from great distances.

Directional transmitters move voice and data from one tower to the next. They can affect us from great distances.

Of course there is much disagreement about what levels are harmful or are potentially harmful. Just think about it… the environmental exposure levels shown in all of these photos has already been condoned by the local councils and governments.

They labor under the misguided belief this has no biological effects on adults, children, plants and animals, or they deem the risks acceptable, or deem the suffering experienced by those who are electrohypersensitive (EHS) to also be acceptable in the name of progress. For an overview of EMF related research, click here. For an oversight of how different governments are starting to take exposure reducing steps, click here.

You have to make up your own mind about what you deem expectable, and again, the bedroom is where this is most critical.

In GEOVITAL’s opinion,
based on 20+ years of practical experience with patients on this particular subject,
the value found on the patient’s body ‘in a bedroom’ above which shielding is indicated
if it is HEALTH RECOVERY that we are after, is 100 microVolt (µV).
The target, after shielding, is ideally under 30 µV.

Why assessing the body for the burden of EMF radiation is more meaningful

The body coupling-measurement method has been used to better investigate the patient’s burden to EMF radiation by health practitioners and environmental medicine practitioners in Austria, Switzerland and Germany for over 20 years. The output of transmitters (W/m²) is in this approach of little interest. Instead the person’s body is important, to determine the actual burden.

Shielding fabric NOVA can be an quick and portable solution for people renting to deal with RF-EMR.

Shielding fabric NOVA can be an quick and portable solution for people renting to deal with RF-EMR.

The body as antenna and it’s projection (surface) area, play a role in determining the actual burden of exposure load. This value is expressed in microvolt (µV).

When it comes to determining if shielding is indicated and to find out if the quality of the protection implemented is good enough, this type of investigation is much more meaningful than assessing the air, because despite the larger surface area of the antenna (the person), the achieved values after shielding must be sufficient.

When implementing inferior shielding products, these all important body values tend to not drop far enough and we have seen disappointing results in terms of health recoveries that practitioner and patient was hoping for. In this situation, an air measurements on both professional and amateur instruments, may very well have shown the shielding to be successful. The sad reality is that the patient has a false sense of security about their EMF exposure and due to symptoms remaining, starts to focus on other health burdens whilst the radiation burden, unknowingly, has not been addressed properly.

This is why GEOVITAL uses the highest performance (and healthy) solutions based on experience with patients… not sales figures, market share or price point.
In the end… patients want solutions, not experiments.

We are keen to receive your images of microwave radiation exposure investigated with the HF Field Probe.

If you have a HF Field Probe, send us your assessment photos so they can be added here. Please make sure of the following:

  • When taking photos, do not have personal sources of RF radiation near/on you. If using a phone for example, or video camera with Wi-Fi, turn it to flight-mode before taking your photos.
  • We need to know where the photo was take. Please supply exact address, post code, city, country and if it is near a famous landmark, please tell us what it is. Ideally you would put this information in the file name also.
  • Tell us your name so we can state by whom the photo was made.
  • You can send your images to help at geovital. com .au
  • By sending us your photo(s), you agree to ongoing consent for us to use the photo(s) on this website and other advertising purposes, and you agree to other people being able to view and download it.

You have a wonderful product that gives an indication of what the body absorbs of RF radiation. If RF is above 10G and not visible by most consumer instruments, will your device still detect high RF radiation from the body. I assume it would redline but want to ask to be certain?

    • Patrick van der Burght 17/04/2024 at 2:23 pm - Reply

      Hi Jack,
Apologies for the delay. The HF Field Probe assesses RF up to 8Ghz which is a very big range of RF frequencies.
Above 8Ghz the burden on the body wouldn’t be represented on the values expressed on the screen. We do wonder if sometimes we can hear things over the speaker as sometimes near certain RF equipment, we get low values but a lot of noise. Technically it goes up to 8Ghz though.
Assessing the body rather than the air gives much greater insight and typically, up to 8GHz there is already too much to worry about.
      Patrick

Why are measurements all in mV instead of mT or mG? This does not seem like any kind of stamdard measurement of EMR.

    • Patrick van der Burght 08/11/2017 at 12:05 am - Reply

      Dear Tom,
Thank you for your question. The units this instruments displays is microVolt (not milliVolt). It gives an indication of what the body absorbs of RF radiation. Often for RF radiation, the unit of microWatt per square meter is used. (nT (nanoTesla) and mG (milliGauss) are expressions of low frequency magnetic fields from electricity and so this not what is being assessed here in these photos. This is radio frequency radiation from phone towers, smart meters etc.
Most meters and people assess the AIR for RF radiation, but as we work with patients, and the technology was available many years ago to investigate how much RF actually ‘arrives’ in the body, this made a lot more sense to us.
Over the last 10+years the assessing of RF in the body instead of the air, has in our experience, proved a significant improvement to A) assess whether the body is under stress, and B) to see if implemented mitigation (shielding) actually produced the desired environment.
Air measurement we did before all this, often did not show the importance of mediocre exposure. In which case no shielding was put in place and often very disappointing results came from mitigation. When we went back to these people, after we had become aware we can also assess the body, we found that the AIR assessment still insisted there was nothing to worry about, but the BODY assessment showed the body was still under stress. We did shielding then… and many health recoveries then came for these patients.
Ever since, assessing the BODY seemed to make a lot more sense.
In recent years the instrument we were using went out of production and we then set out to produce our own with various improvements. The HF Field Probe goes up to true 8Ghz, is rechargeable, and has an easy to interpret colour display for the patients to understand.
Hope this explains it better for you and other readers.
      Patrick

Oh, as a side note: At present time our recommendations is that levels of 100 microVolt or higher should be shielded against, and ideally would like to see 30 microVolt or less in a bedroom.
